Aks international minorities festival- film, art and dialogues is a recent initiative launched in April 2014, the festival’s main focus is on transgenders and sexual minorities in Pakistan. The festival aims to promote awareness, establish dialogue, address human right issues, promote visibility and empower individuals of such minority groups. Aks will engage its audience through films, workshops and performance art events in a way that it challenges them to empathize and demand justice for such minorities in Pakistan.
